ATELIER JAMBON

↳ R&L RESTAURANT

A consumer packaged goods identity for Atelier Jambon, built around the ingredients of a single, perfect sandwich.

Each product gets its own colorway and its own version of the character.  The character shifts with each, recolored and subtly adjusted, but always recognizable. The typography leans into the contrast between a chunky, confident serif and a loose cursive script for the Atelier Jambon wordmark. “the BUTTER,” “the PICKLES” - named plainly, as the French would. No embellishment needed when the thing is already good.

The identity runs across variable assets and physical packaging. Everything is designed to read clearly in detail. It’s bold enough to catch attention on a shelf and strange enough to make you look twice. The illustration keeps it from taking itself too seriously, which is exactly right for a brand named after a sandwich.
